Fully automated tuning and calibration using the internal or external
calibrated leak.
Agilent's patent-pending electronic calibration system provides
precise and fast calibration across the entire leak range with one
standard leak.
Specialized software permits you to calibrate to internal or external
leaks and provides a range of set point functionality.
You must provide a suitable test valve to control vacuum pressure
upstream of the VS C15 Base unit.
Customers have the option for connecting an external helium leak or
air-tuning leak on the vacuum lines of their system for external
calibration. In this case, the customer controls activation of all the
valves required for correct spectrometer tuning, zeroing, and
calibration.
ProfiNet, RS-232 or touch screen.
See Table 1-5 for the ranges displayed by the VS C-15 Display unit.
The internal calibration will always be done using an E-07 range leak
with the VS C-15 electronics compensated to achieve precise
sensitivity for a given working range. The orange shaded column
indicates the recommended helium calibration decade for each
working range when customers are performing external calibration via
system PC or PLC.
Selectable mode background elimination with a Zero Enable feature
(Control Panel).
A bar graph (linear or log) displays leak rates automatically;
alphanumeric indication on LCD display. A leak can also trigger an
audible alarm that varies in proportion to the size of the leak,
dedicated volume control and programmable audio threshold. Analog
voltage is proportional to the leak rate.
