The power supply design at board level satisfy the following requirements:
At the input power side, before the diodes OR-Ring of the two batteries rails A and B, a protection
fuse has been inserted for every battery wire (F2 in Figure 89. on page 143).
After OR-Ring the input battery voltage, the presence of the battery power supply used in the board
is monitored. This information is sent to SLC via ISC bus.
For each board the EMI/EMC filtering reduce the spurious frequency produced from the DC/DC
converters.

3.9.2 Service battery (3.7V/5.4V) power distribution

In addition to the main voltage rails (-48V/--60V), each PSF unit shall provide two service voltages.
a)
3.6V (V3A & V3B) distributed to all slots of the equipment (including slots for access panel
connection)
b)
5.3V (V5A & V5B) specific for WDM cards management and access panel
The duplicated 3.6V and 5.3V voltages are distributed to all cards within the subrack V3A and B as well
as V5A and B wires are combined on each card using diodes:
The service voltage wires at 3.6V and 5.3V are not fused on PSF and fused at the unit board level.
