USB and F functionalities is alternative. The F is also sent to backplane passing through a selector block.
The aim of this interface is to give the possibility to reach both FLCs via F interface independently from
the slot in which the connector is plugged.
An extra USB interface is exported at front panel. The main target of this interface is to allow the insertion
of USB based memory keys that can host an emergency recovery version of the Linux OS.
Remote Alarms/Rack Lamps, LED and Housekeeping Alarms are part of the same logical block but have
slightly different behaviors.
FLC's Remote inventory is readable from SLCs, in order to generate mismatch alarms.
The EPROM containing MAC addresses associated to the Q3 LANs (connectors on second level
controller boards) is accessed by both the First Level Controller boards via SPI_LCI interface.
FLC interfaces:
F/USB interface (connectors on front and backplane)
USB interface (connector on front)
IPL Interface
Qecc interface (internal to HDLC Controller)
HouseKeeping and Rack Lamps (connector on front)
DBG interface (connector on front)
