Belt Routing
Take one of the GT2 drive belts and thread it into the notch at the base of the Z tower as shown
in Fig. 11-2. Make sure that the belt teeth face in towards the tower.

Route the belt so that it passes to the outside of the #1 idler
bearing, around the GT2 drive gear attached to the stepper motor and
round the outside of the #2 idler bearing. At no point should the
drive belt come into contact with the wiring – it should pass around
the #2 idler cleanly. Route the belt up the tower and around the
upper idler as shown in Fig. 11-4. Make sure that the belt passes
through the notch as shown by the green rectangle,
