Assembling the Cheapskate Rollers
For this step, you'll need the following components:
1. (___) Bearing Sleeves (24)
2. (___) 608ZZ Bearings (12)

The Cheapskate rollers are made from two bearing sleeves and a single 608ZZ bearing. You'll
need to apply sleeves to all 12 bearings used in this step.
Start by laying a sleeve on the table, wide "face" up. Press a 608ZZ bearing into it as shown in
Fig. 8-4.
Set the second sleeve on top of the
608ZZ bearing and press down with the
palm of your hand until it's fully seated.
You may want to use a paper towel or cloth
pad to protect your hand – the edges of the
sleeve can be sharp.
Repeat this process for the 11
remaining 608ZZ bearings.
