3.2 General machine data
The maximum possible number of tools is equal to the number of cutting edges. The MD
must also be set when TOOLMAN is not used.
The buffered data are lost when the machine data is changed.

Description:
Maximum number of definable toolholders for orientable tools in the TO area. The value
is divided by the number of active TO units. The integer result states how many
toolholders can be defined for each TO unit. The data for defining a toolholder are
set with the system variables $TC_CARR1, ... $TC_CARR14.
The data are stored in battery-backed memory.
