SUBJECT: BLACK SPOTS ON COPIES
SYMPTOM:
1. Black Spots appear on copies. These are more noticeable on the 2nd side of a duplex copy.
2. The Quenching Lamp does not turn "ON" or turns "ON" intermittently.
CAUSE:
1. The LEDs on the Quenching Lamp are broken or OPEN.
2. Poor solder joints attaching the Quenching Lamp wiring harness.
SOLUTION
1. Replace the Quenching Lamp (A1532090).
2. Re-solder the wires to the Quenching Lamp.
UNITS AFFECTED:
Any FT5535 Series copier exhibiting the above symptoms.
