10.17 4TH/5TH MIRROR HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

CAUTION
Never perform this adjustment unless you have positively verified that the
source of the image skewing is optical and not in the paper path.
1. Turn off the main switch and remove the exposure glass.
2. Peel off the shielding mylar [A] halfway.
3. Adjust the 4th/5th mirror height by turning the adjusting screw [B].
NOTE: After the adjustment, stick the mylar [A] again in its former position.

If skewed images appear.
To maintain proper copy quality.
Turn the 4th/5th mirror height adjustment screw. This
changes the 4th/5th mirror height.
