The keys on the right side of the panel have only one function, as designated by
the label on the key. Menu and Quiet also have only one function each. The
following keys on the left side have two functions each:
v Micro /Scroll
v Micro /Scroll
v PA1/Enter (Coax only)
v PA2/Return (Coax only)
v Display Address/Return (Twinax only)
The function identified by lighter print on the top line or both lines of the overlay
label is a general use function. The darker print on the bottom portion of the
overlay label identifies a configuration function or a test function.
The following section describes each of the printer function keys on the operator
panel.

Menu

Use the Menu function key to enter the Configuration Menu. This function key is
valid when the printer is not ready or the printer is ready and no job is in progress.
After you enter the Configuration Menu, paper movement functions are not
available.
The Menu key and lettering are black, as are the key labels that are available when
in the Configuration or Test Menu.
Press Menu to enter the Configuration Menu.
The printer displays:
CONFIGURATION MENU
Configuration Storage
Note: If a print job is in progress (the printer is printing or the Processing
indicator is on), the printer displays:
009 INVALID KEY PRESS
PRESS STOP FIRST
In this case, you can press Stop first and then enter the Menu. However, it is not
recommended that you change the Configuration Parameter Values while a print
job is in progress.
