1. Press Stop.
2. Load forms in the Push-Pull forms path. See Chapter 17, "Setting Up Forms
Paths".
3. Press Start.
If the message displays again, tune the sensor. See Sensor Tune in Chapter 11,
"Printer Adjustments".
If the message still displays, call for service.
Automatic Sheet Feeder:
1. Press Stop.
2. Ensure paper or forms are properly loaded in the correct bin. See the 4247
Printer Automatic Sheet Feeder Guide.
3. Press Start.

CLEAR JAM AND RELOAD FORMS
A forms jam condition exists in either the front or rear tractors for more than 60
seconds.
Recovery:
1. Press Stop.
2. Clear the jammed or torn form.
3. If you are printing in the Rear Pull or Push-Pull forms path, check that the rear
tractor paper door is opened for the forms to exit through.
4. Ensure the metal deflector on the forms guide and the paper bail are in the
correct positions. For the correct positions, see "Installing the Forms Tractor"
for the forms path you are currently using. (See Chapter 17, "Setting Up Forms
Paths".)
5. Press Start.
6. If the message displays again, perform the actions under "Forms buckle, twist,
jam, or tear." (See "Problem List Index" on page 313.)
If the message displays again, clean the tractor sensors with a soft, clean cloth.
If the message still displays, call for service.
033 TEAR PAPER TIMEOUT
TEAR OFF AT OUTPUT AND PRESS PARK
A forms tear off condition exists for more than 60 seconds.
Recovery:
1. Press Stop.
2. Tear off the forms at the perforation after it exits the printer.
3. Press Park/Path.
034 INVALID FORMS SELECT TIMEOUT
SELECT NEW DEVICE
An invalid forms device condition exists for more than 60 seconds.
