form exits through the rear tractor paper door.
The printer is now ready for jobs that use the Rear Pull forms path. If you do not
want to use the printer defaults for form settings (such as Characters Per Inch,
Lines Per Inch, or Maximum Print Position [MPP]), see Chapter 3, "Checking and
Changing Configuration Parameter Values".
Push-Pull Forms Path
This forms path configuration allows one continuous forms loading from the front
push tractor and the forms to exit from the rear pull tractor. This forms path
provides improved forms handling for difficult situations (for example, thicker
multiple-part forms, higher humidity) because of the use of four tractors and the
straight forms path.
To use this forms path, the Automatic Sheet Feeder (ASF) should not be installed
in the printer.
It is not recommended to select Manual when the printer is set for either the
Rear-Pull or the Push-Pull forms paths. Manual can be selected from the operator
panel, but to use it, you will need to re-configure the forms path both before and
after using Manual. Manual cannot be selected via the IPDS data stream.
