15. Close the forms guide and the top cover.
16. Press Load/Eject to feed the forms.
17. Press Start to make the printer ready.
The printer is now ready for jobs that use the rear push forms path. If you do not
want to use the printer defaults for form settings (such as Characters Per Inch,
Lines Per Inch, or Maximum Print Position [MPP]), see Chapter 3, "Checking and
Changing Configuration Parameter Values".

Dual Push (Front Push and Rear Push) Forms Paths

The 4247 printer can be set up to simultaneously process forms through two push
paths, the front push and the rear push. This is called dual push.
There are two ways of using this configuration. The first way is to load the two
paths with different forms. The printer can be set up to support two different
applications and the printing can be switched between the two forms. See "Using
Different Forms On Two Paths" on page 213 for more information.
The second way is to load the two paths with the same form. For some specific
applications, such as printing reports overnight without running out of forms, you
may find using the same form in both paths to be a good solution. The printer can
be set up to automatically switch paper sources and keep printing.

Setting Up Printer

Some setup is needed to be able to print on two different form types.
1. Place "form-type-1" on the front tractor pins and "form-type-2" on the rear
2. Ensure that Continuous Forms Linking = Disabled is set in the Printer Setup
