INSTALL STACKER
Recovery:
1. Power off (O) the printer.
2. Ensure all parts of the automatic sheet feeder are installed correctly. See the
IBM 4247 Printer Automatic Sheet Feeder Guide.
3. Power on (|) the printer.
088 INVALID PAPER SOURCE
USE MANUAL OR CHANGE CONFIGURATION
Incorrect Power On Paper Source selected in configuration. Change the
configuration to an available paper source.
Recovery:
1. Press Stop.
2. See the appropriate "configuring the printer" procedure for the desired forms
path.

CHECK RIBBON
Recovery:
1. Power off (O) the printer.
2. Remove the ribbon cartridge.
3. Turn the ribbon advance knob to be sure that the ribbon is advancing correctly.
If the ribbon does not advance correctly, replace the ribbon cartridge.
4. Reinstall the ribbon. (See "Removing the Ribbon Cartridge" on page 289in
Chapter 19, "Supplies, Optional Features, and Maintenance".)
5. Power on (|) the printer.
6. If the printer displays again, call for service.

Recovery:
1. Tear off the forms at the perforation before entry into the printer.
