Exporting Headset Log
When the Yealink USB headset is connected to your T4XU/T5XW phone, you can export the headset log to help
analyze your problem.
Procedure
1. From the web user interface, go to Settings > Configuration.
2. Click Export in the Headset Log field to open the file download window, and then save the log file to your local
system.
A log file is successfully exported to your local system.

You can configure your device to generate the log files locally, upload the log to the USB flash drive connected to
the phone or sent the log to a syslog server in real time, and use these log files to generate informational, analytic
and troubleshoot phones.

USB flash drive connected to the phone or upload the local log files to the provisioning server.

The following table lists the parameters you can use to configure local logging.
Parameter static.local_log.enable
It enables or disables the phone to record log locally.
Description
Note: We recommend that you do not disable this feature.
0-Disabled, the phone will stop recording log to the log files locally. The log files recorded before are
still kept on the phone.

1-Enabled, the phone will continue to record log to the log files locally. You can upload the local log
files to the provisioning server or a specific server or export them to the local system.

Parameter syslog.usb.enable
It enables or disables the phone to collect log using a USB flash drive.

Note: It works only if "static.local_log.enable" is set to 1 (Enabled).
