M800W/M80W Series Connection and Setup Manual
4 General Specifications
(Note 1) When using an inductive load such as a relay, always connect a diode (voltage resistance 100V or
more, twice or more the load current) in parallel to the load.
Source output
(Note 2) When the rush current exceeds the maximum output current, always connect a protective resistor
(R=150Ω) serially to the load to suppress rush currents. Make sure that the current is less than the
maximum output current including the momentary current.
Source output
(Note 3) Always keep the total sum of output current of each Y200 to Y207, Y208 to Y20F, Y210 to Y217,
Y218 to Y21F, Y220 to Y227, Y228 to Y22F, Y230 to Y237 and Y238 to Y23F less than 0.8A.

CAUTION
1. When using an inductive load such as a relay, always connect a diode in parallel to the load to prevent a
counter-electromotive force.
2. When the rush current exceeds the maximum output current, always connect a protective resistor serially to
the load to suppress rush currents.
