You can see from these formulae that the variations in the ISTD response
are used to correct the quantification of the unknown component.

recalibrations. If the calibrated peak response factor changes, then the
response factor for the unidentified peaks also changes by the same
amount. If a Calibration Table is already set up, you can select a compound
from the Using Compound combo box in the Calibration Settings dialog box.
