Log and Trap – Logs the event and sends a trap message.

Community – A password-like community string sent with the trap

To configure an RMON event:
Click Administration, RMON.
1.
Select Configure Global from the Step list.
2.
Select Add from the Action list.
3.
Click Event.
4.
Enter an index number, the type of event to initiate, the community

string to send with trap messages, the name of the person who created
this event, and a brief description of the event.
Click Apply
