6.17 Removing the Drive Axle
Preparation:
❒ Remove the drive motors (see Section 6.16).
❒ Remove the drive axle spring (see Section 6.9.1).
Tools:
❒ Allen wrench, size 10
❒ Open-end or combination wrench, size 19
Steps:
1. Loosen and remove an Allen head screw on the left and right of the motor mount, respectively.
2. Remove the drive axle and replace if required.
Properly reassemble all components upon completion of the work.
