Drive Shaft Installation - Honda Motorcycle Service Manual

Install the shaft spring and secure the snap ring
Insert the drive shaft into the damper case.
FINAL DRIVEIOUTPUT SHAFT
SPRING
Install a new O-ring onto the drive shaft.
Install the damper lifter, damper cam and spring seat.

Set the drive shaft in the shock absorber compressor and com-
press the spring.
Set the stop ring securely into the groove on the drive shaft.
Remove the tools.
DRIVE SHAFT INSTALLATION
With Damper Case:
Fill the damper case with the recommended type and amount
of gear oil.
