Remove the
CPU Module

Do not remove or install any internal option without attaching
the antistatic wrist strap to your wrist and the system. Refer to
the section entitled CAUTION: Static Discharge earlier in this
chapter. Handle the CPU module by its edges only.
To remove the CPU module, refer to Figure 2–25 and perform
the following steps:

Be sure the system preparation tasks are complete. See
the section entitled Preparing Your System for more
information.

Loosen the four captive (nonremovable) screws that hold
the module in place: two at the back corner edges of the
module and two at the center edges.
