Enter a New
Your system arrives from the factory without a password. The

hexadecimal characters (0 through 9 and A through F). To enter
a password on your system, enter the commands shown in
Table 5–3 starting at the console prompt (>>>).

As you enter the password, what you type does not display, or
echo, on the screen. If the two passwords you entered match,
your password is preserved in nonvolatile memory, which means
that the system saves your password value even when the
system unit is turned off.
