TEST

Diagnostic The
Testing of the system (or subsystem), or a specific device. If you do not
specify a parameter, the system will test all components.
Format
To execute the
>>> t[est] [ test_device ] [ optional_parameters ]
Parameters The following table describes the

optional_parameters
command lets you test the entire system, a portion

Function
The name of the device or subsystem to
be tested.
Optional parameters accepted by a
subsystem test. Refer to Table 4–15
through Table 4–20, and Table 4–22.
If the action performed by a parameter has the potential
of destroying data written on media, you are first
prompted to make sure that you really want to perform
the action. The following prompt is displayed:
