Defective sound chip.
Using the Troubleshooting Tables
Corrective Action
Problem is most likely caused by
the customer's server system or
the network.
Refer to Chapter 4 for
information on running
diagnostic tests.
If you are using an AUI or
ThinWire adapter to convert
your network connection from
10BASE-T to another network
protocol, turn off the heartbeat
in the network transceiver
(DELNI) to eliminate the
problem, or contact your Digital
service representative.
Corrective Action
Refer to Chapter 4 for
information on running
diagnostic tests.
