8xy 8xy is a three-digit
hexadecimal number
representing the bank
number and SIMM
with the failing data.
8 is the extended error
code prefix
x = bank 0 to 7
y = SIMM 0 or 1 for
data errors in one
SIMM
8 is for data errors
in both SIMMS of a
SIMM pair
F if unable to isolate
the error to the SIMM
or SIMM pair.
