It is possible for the metal shield that is attached to the inside
Caution: Shield
of the system unit to come loose when you remove the power
supply. This shield is located at the back of the system unit and
encircles the opening through which the power supply sockets
extend (see Figure 2–28). If the shield comes loose, be sure to
reinstall it.

Install the To install the power supply, reverse all steps in the removal

Be sure the system preparation tasks are complete. See
the section entitled Preparing Your System for more
information.
Insert the tab on the bottom front of the power supply
into the slot on the base plate of the system unit.
Push the power supply toward the back of the system
unit.
Insert and tighten the two mounting screws.
Connect the power supply cable connector to the system
module, and then a connector to each drive, if any are
installed.
