Installing an 850 W AC Power Supply in a Summit X650 Series Switch

Caution
Make sure that the AC power supply circuit is not overloaded. Use proper over-current
protection, such as a circuit-breaker, to prevent over-current conditions.
To install an 850 W AC power supply in a Summit X650 series switch:
1 Attach an ESD-preventive wrist strap to your bare wrist and connect the metal end to an
appropriate grounding point.
2 If necessary, remove a blank panel from the back of the Summit X650 series switch.

3 Verify that the power supply is right side up, with the latching tab at the right of the unit (see
249: Installing a Power Supply
4 Carefully slide the power supply all the way into the power supply bay (see
Power Supply on page 270).
