Note
The DC power terminal is covered by a plastic shield when shipped. Remove the shield to
access the terminals.
3 Using a cross-head (Phillips) torque screwdriver, tighten the retaining screw to 20 pound-inches
(2.25 Newton-meters).
4 Connect the other end of the wire to a known reliable earth ground point at your site.

-48V Power Source
Warning
Always make sure that the DC circuit is de-energized before connecting or disconnecting the
DC power cables.
Warning
Be sure to ground the switch before connecting the power cables. See

Caution
Provide proper connection and strain relief on the DC power cables in accordance with all
local and national electrical codes.
