ip dhcp client client-id

Use this command to set client id of dhcp client.
Interface configuration
ip dhcp client client-id <interface>
no ip dhcp client client-id
<interface>
This command is used for setting the client id of dhcp client ex-
ample. The information of this option can be input in the form
of interface name. The information encapsulated in dhcp client
packet is the interface MAC address.
The platform version 4.8.22 supports this command.
It is only applied to 59 series switches.
This example shows how to set class id of dhcp client.
ZXR10(config-if)#ip dhcp client client-id vlan1
ZXR10(config-if)#
ip address dhcp

ip dhcp client hostname

Use this command to set hostname of dhcp client.
Interface configuration
ip dhcp client hostname <string>
no ip dhcp client hostname
<string>
This command is used to set hostname of dhcp client.
The platform version 4.8.22 supports this command.
It is only applied to 59 series switches.
This example shows how to set class id of dhcp client.
ZXR10(config-if)#ip dhcp client hostname zxr10@zte.com.cn
ZXR10(config-if)#
The content of the class id option: name of
the interface.
The content of hostname, in length of 1–128.
