When the E1 interface is configured to unframed mode, it occu-
pies 1~31 time slots. In the case, the command of configuring
time slot is ineffective.
When the E1 interface is configured to framing mode, and then
to unframed mode, the virtual interfaces in the original framing
mode are deleted.
This example describes how to configure the framing mode of E1
interface board.
ZXR10(config)#control1er e1_4/1
ZXR10(config-control)#framing frame
ZXR10(config-control)#framing unframe

framing(CT1)

Use this command to configuration the framing and frame format.
Channel configuration
framing {unframed | frame | superframe | extended-super
frame }

extended-superfr
ame
It is superframe framing by default.
When interface T1 is set to unframed format, it occupies 1~24
time-slot. The command for configuring the time-slot is invalid.
When interface T1 is set to frame format, if it is transformd to
unframe format , all the virtual interfaces under the framing format
will be deleted.
Only when interface T1 is framing format, the superframe and the
extended-superframe can be configured.
This example describes how to configure the framing format on T1
interface board.

ZXR10(config-control)#framing superframe
ZXR10(config-control)#framing extended-superframe
