Description
Enables the printer to communicate with a host through an
optional interface in addition to the standard serial
interface. Optional boards are not shown installed.
Connects the printer to a host computer with a 25-pin "D"
style subminiature receptacle. This connector supports
communications over RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 serial
ports.
The AC power cord plugs into this receptacle. The printer
can operate at 100 to 240 VAC at frequencies of 50 to 60 Hz.
The 4400 printer uses a 3AG, Slo-Blo, 5A, 250V fuse. See
Chapter 10 for replacement procedures.
To switch the printer on, press the line ( l ) on the switch. To
switch the printer off, press the circle (O).
