Setting Daylight Saving Time (D.S.T.)

Touch [D.S.T.].
2.
Touch [Auto] or [OFF] to set the
Daylight Saving Time.

The factory default setting is
[Auto].
i
When in the [Auto] setting, one
hour is automatically added to the
unit's clock on the first Sunday in
April, and one hour is subtracted
on the last Sunday in October.

For those areas not observing
D.S.T., the setting should be
[OFF].
Setting the Monitor Speaker and the Alarm Buzzer Volume:
You can adjust the volume of the monitor sounds (ringer tone, facsimile
answer tone, etc.) as well as that of the alarm buzzer (paper out, paper jam,
communication error, etc.).
Setting the Volume
1.
Press <Utility>.
2.
Select [Maint.], and touch
[Sound Vol.].
