Installing Print Paper
The following section describes the procedure for installing print paper in the
paper cassette and changing the paper size.
Before Starting Operations:
Up to five paper cassettes can be installed using additional cassettes (optional items).
The following print sizes can be set:
11x17
11x14

(P) = Portrait direction
If there is no paper left for printing, the message "Add paper" is displayed on the touch panel
screen. When the multi-purpose paper cassette, universal paper cassette, or 550-sheet
cassette is installed, and the paper has run out, a red LED on that cassette lights. This LED
will flash when the paper is at low status.
Use only the recommended paper.
When the paper size of the cassette is changed, be sure to change the paper size indicator.
(To change the paper size in a 550-sheet cassette, contact your dealer or service center.)
If the paper size is changed while the power is turned off, reset the paper size on the copy
screen after turning on the power.
