Registering the Administrator Number (Continued)

Use the 10-key Pad to enter the
password of the administrator
(up to eight digits), then touch
[Enter].

To re-enter the number:
Use [
] or [
re-enter the number, or press <C> to re-
enter the number.
When [Delete] is touched, the character
on the cursor is deleted.
When [Cancel] is touched, it returns to
the initial status.

Confirm the setting details when
the screen returns as that shown
in step 2. Touch [Enter] if the
setting is correct.

To modify:
Touch [Administrator Number] to re-
register.

Touch [Enter] repeatedly until
the display returns to the stand-
by screen.

Setting the Image Memory Holding Timer

Documents that were unsuccessfully sent (due to telephone line trouble, busy
destination, problems with the remote facsimile, etc.) are stored in the image
memory for a registered period of time. This section describes registering the
holding time period.
Before Starting Operations:
The factory default holding time period is one hour.
If the transmission is unsuccessful, the transmission result can be confirmed by the
transmission report.
