Registering a Self-Abbreviated Number

By registering a Self-Abbreviated number in the relay station, the originating
station will receive a Relay Report showing the relay transmission results.
Before Starting Operations:
The relay station must register the facsimile number of the originating station as an
abbreviated dialing number before the relay transmission occurs.
Registering the Self-Abbreviated Number (on the Originating Relay Station)
1.
Press <Utility>.
2.
Select [Reg.] and touch
[Self-Abbr.#].
3.
Use the 10-key Pad to enter
the local abbreviated dialing
number, then touch [Enter].

Enter the registered
abbreviated dialing number of
the originating relay station as
it is registered in the relay
station. This way, the number
is sent with the relay
command to the relay station.
When the relay transmission is
completed, the relay station
dials the originating station,
and a relay result report will be
sent back to the originating
side.

Digits from 000 to 499 can be
entered.
