.3 Dynamic Address

The Dy namic Address Table
traf fic entering the switch. When the destination address for inbound traffic is found in the database, the
packet s intended for that address are forwarded directly to the associated port. Otherwise, the traffic is
flooded to all ports.
The Dynamic Address screen (see figure 4-70) contains parameters for querying information in the
Dyn amic MAC Address Table, including the interface type, MAC addresses, VLAN, and table storing. The

Query
contains the MAC addresses learned by monitoring the source address for
meters for querying and viewing the Dynamic MAC Address table. The
