7.8 dlmupdatesysinit Utility for Updating System Scripts

In an environment that uses Red Hat Enterprise Linux, if you update the
initscripts
rc.d/rc.sysinit
In an environment that uses SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server, if you update the
,
aaa_base
raidtools
information in the
file, or the
/etc/init.d/boot.lvm
If the HDLM information is lost, execute the
re-register the information. For details on the conditions for executing the this utility,
see 3.5.2 Notes on Linux.

/opt/DynamicLinkManager/bin/dlmupdatesysinit
Examples
Example 1:
In this example, the HDLM information is lost in an environment that uses Red
Hat Enterprise Linux. In the following execution example, the utility re-registers
the HDLM information in the
# /opt/DynamicLinkManager/bin/dlmupdatesysinit
KAPL13501-I The utility for update system scripts started.
KAPL13503-I A system script has been modified. File name = /
etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit
KAPL13502-I The utility for update system scripts completed
successfully.
Example 2
