3.7.2 Overview of the Procedure for Installing HDLM in a Boot Disk
Environment
This subsection provides an overview of the procedure for installing HDLM in a boot
disk environment.
(1) Settings for Using an HDLM Device as a Boot Disk

HDLM Device Is Used as a Boot Disk):

Edit the configuration file to change the definition so that the OS will start with a
SCSI device specified.

Perform an upgrade installation of HDLM.
