The RMON Events Log page contains the following fields:
Event — The RMON Events Log entry number.
Log No.— The log number.
Log Time — Time when the log entry was entered.
Description — Describes the log entry.
Defining Device Events Using the CLI Commands
The following table contains the CLI commands for defining device events.

CLI Command
show rmon log [ event ] Displays the RMON logging table.
The following is an example of the CLI commands:
console(config)# rmon event 1 log
Console> show rmon log

Defining RMON Device Alarms

Use the RMON Alarms page to set network alarms. Network alarms occur when a network
problem, or event, is detected. Rising and falling thresholds generate events. For more information
about events, see "Viewing the RMON Events Log."
To open the RMON Alarms page, click Statistics/RMON→ RMON→ Alarms in the tree view.
