The best sources of information for software problems are your operating system and
application software documentation, which may also point to fault detection tools
that report errors and preserve your system configuration.
Other useful resources include the Survey utility, available for servers running a
Microsoft Windows, Linux, or Novell NetWare operating system, and Insight
Manager 7 (and previous versions). Use either utility to gather critical system
hardware and software information and to help with problem diagnosis.
