sysname sys-name

Parameter
sys-name: Hostname of the switch. A string of 1 to 30 characters. The default
hostname of the switch is 3Com.
Description
Use the sysname command to configure the system name of the switch.
Changing the hostname name of the switch will affect the prompt of command
line interface. For example, if the system name of the switch is 3Com, and the
prompt in user view is <SW8800>.
Use the undo sysname command to restore the system name of the switch to
the default value.
Example
# Set the system name of the switch to 3ComLANSwitch.
<SW8800> system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[SW8800] sysname 3ComLANSwitch
[3ComLANSwitch]

Parameter
None
Description
Use the display clock command to display the system date and time information,
so that you make timely changes if the system time is incorrect.
