Memory

Computer memory (RAM) is installed into one 168-pin DIMM slot on the
motherboard. The interface supports PC-100, unbuffered SDRAM modules, up
to 1 Gbyte in size.
Video memory is in the form of a dedicated 32 Mbyte DDR SDRAM graphics
buffer attached to the Matrox G450 graphics chip.
BIOS settings are stored in a 256 Kbyte flash memory chip. Its capabilities are
similar to that of an EEPROM, in that it can be erased and re-written, as well as
hold its content without power.

Display

Display capabilities are made possible due to the Matrox G450 graphics controller,
which features a 2X, 32-bit, master AGP Host interface, a 360 MHz primary
display RAMDAC, a 200 MHz secondary RAMDAC, a TV/video encoder, a
TMDS transmitter, and 32 Mbytes DDR SDRAM.
The integrated Matrox G450 graphics controller uses the 32-Mbyte frame buffer
to store display and Host-transfer data. The controller is also capable of bus
mastering; that is, it can send data to, and receive data from the computer memory
without continuous Host intervention.
