Executing Matrox
Flash CPLD
Follow these steps to start the DOS-compatible operating system and update the
CPLD:
1. If you are using FreeDOS, skip to step 4.
2. If you are using your own DOS-compatible operating system, turn off your unit,
and connect the device from which your operating system will boot. Please refer
to Chapter 3: Adding devices to the Matrox 4Sight-II motherboard, for more
information.
3. Turn on your unit, and press Esc during POST to access the boot-device selector
utility. For more information on this program, please refer to BIOS reference.
Select the device that will boot the DOS-compatible operating system, and press
Enter.
Once the operating-system has started, skip to step 8.
4. To start FreeDOS, turn on your unit. Soon after POST, you will have to choose
which operating system to boot.
5. Select FreeDOS Interpreter by highlighting it and pressing Enter. To move the
highlighting bar over this option, use the Up and Down keys.
