• Ultra DMA Mode
This item allows you to select the Ultra DMA mode of transfer. The Ultra DMA
mode allows for a faster transfer rate between the IDE device and system memory.
Options:
- Disabled (default)
- Mode 0
- Mode 1
- Mode 2

Advanced menu

This section describes all the items of the Advanced menu. Refer to the previous
section entitled The Legend bar for guidelines on navigating within this menu.
• Installed O/S:
This item allows you to select the type of operating system your Matrox 4Sight-II
unit will be using. Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows 2000 are all
responsible for allocating the necessary resources (that is, interrupts, memory, I/O
ports) to be used by PCI devices. However any other operating system (including
Windows NT) relies on the BIOS to allocate these resources.
