❖ If you have purchased a Matrox Meteor-II /Camera Link frame grabber, you will
need to purchase the Camera Link cable from your camera's manufacturer or from
3M Interconnect Solutions for Factory Automation.

Operating your Matrox 4Sight-II unit

The following points should be considered when operating your Matrox 4Sight-II
unit.

Light emitting diodes (LEDs)

There are a total of six clearly labelled LEDs on the Matrox 4Sight-II unit.
• On one side, there are four LEDs:
- On (topmost LED). Power on - lights when the unit is on.
- STR (second LED). Suspend to RAM - lights when the unit is in sleep mode.
- Diag (third LED). Diagnostic - flashes according to a pre-determined pattern
to communicate POST errors. See BIOS reference for details on interpreting the
flash codes.
- HDD (bottom LED). Hard disk drive - lights when the hard drive is working.
• On the opposite side, there are two network LEDs:
- 100 Mbps (green LED). Lights when the networking interface is in 100BaseT
mode; shuts off when the network interface is in 10BaseT mode.
- Activity (yellow LED). Lights when the unit is connected to a network; blinks
during data transfers; shuts off when there is no connection present.

grabber.
This is an open-ended version of the DBHD44-TO-8BNC cable.
It is required for connection to special input and output signals, such as
synchronization, control, and DC power output.
Used for interfacing to a Matrox Meteor-II /Digital frame grabber.
