Input channels

In addition to supporting the same three video sources as Matrox Orion /Standard
for 4Sight-II, the RGB version can switch between two RGB standard video
cameras, with square-pixel resolutions. It can also switch between any of the four
different types of cameras.

Decoder and A/D converters

In addition to converting analog video in NTSC and PAL formats, the ADV7185
video decoder also extracts synchronization signals from analog RGB video.
The analog R, G, and B signals bypass the video decoder and are digitized by three
independent, analog-to-digital (A/D) converters, one for each R, G, and B
channel.
