Pressing Initialize causes a warning to appear. Press Erase only if you want

Initialize

the configuration erased and all values set to their defaults. Press Cancel to
escape this screen.

Upgrade

1. Contact Thermo Scientific to receive the upgrade file.
2. Copy the file to the recorder PC card.
3. At the Program Menu, press System > Upgrade.
4. When prompted, enter the password provided by the factory.
The recorder then saves the current configuration on the media and
extracts the upgrade file. Note that once the process is complete, the
recorder resets. You do not need to configure the recorder again.
