a. Switch Number: Enter the switch number you want to set up.
b. Switch Function block: Each switch contact can be set up to
actuate a recorder function. Press the button associated with the
function you want to assign to the switch. Following are
descriptions of each switch function.

Change in switch state signals an event, switch action = SPST.
Change in switch state acknowledges alarms, switch action =
momentary.
Select a switch number to assign to this function, and wire a
momentary switch to it. Each time you press the external
switch, a bitmap file of the screen image is saved to the media.
The file name is the exact time (HH:MM:SS) that you pressed
the button.
Change in switch state changes the chart speed, switch action
= SPST.
Change in switch state changes the state of alarm checks,
switch action = SPST.
Change in switch state changes the recording state from on to
off or off to on, switch action = SPST.
Causes all programmed trend displays to stop updating; useful
when necessary to temporarily pause a training session in
progress, switch action = SPST.
Erases all trend type displays and clears history review
memory; useful when starting a training session, as the
recorder begins collecting fresh simulated data, switch action =
momentary.
