display a different color if the point goes into alarm. Press the Normal
or Alarm color box and select the desired color.
4. Major, Submajor, and Minor Grids: You can enter a maximum of 15
major grids, submajor grids, and minor grids. Figure 5–3 shows how
grids provide definition to the screen. Two major, five submajor, and
ten minor grids have been programmed in this example.

5. Display Scales: Point data is interpolated linearly across defined
segments for linear scales. Scales are used to display and record all or
part of the selected output scale. You can zoom all or part of the
available range. Refer to Figure 5–4 for an example of using input and
output scaling and to understand how scaling base points affects the
data. An explanation of the figure follows.
