• Select whether you want to set up the primary or secondary server.
• FTP Server: The FTP server you are connecting to may have a server name.
Enter the name. It must exactly match the server name/IP address for the
FTP server.
• Port: Set the server port number that the recorder will use when
communicating with the FTP server. This field is typically 21.
• Login Name and Password: Enter the name and password the recorder
should use to access the server.
• Account: An account may be set up in the server for the recorder. This entry
must match that account number.
• Initial Path: Enter the initial directory path on the user's server to which the
recorder will transfer files.
• FTP to Both Server: Enabling this function causes the unit to transfer the
same data to both FTP servers at the specified time of day. If you select No,
the unit attempts to transfer to the primary FTP server first. If this fails, it
then attempts to transfer to the secondary FTP server.
• PASV Mode:
• Yes: The recorder establishes a control connection to the FTP server and
waits for the server to make the data connection. Data transfer then
begins.
• No: The recorder establishes a control connection to the FTP server and
waits for the server to issue a port number. The recorder then establishes
a data connection to the port and data transfer begins.
