Alarm Contact Output

The recorder may be equipped with up to three optional digital
Connections
input/output boards, each having six alarm relay contacts. The contact
ratings are:
1 A at 120 Vac or 2.0 A at 24 Vdc resistive load
0.5 A at 230 Vac resistive load
0.4 A at 250 Vdc resistive load
The relays may be configured as normally de-energized or normally
energized (fail-safe). Alarm contacts may be configured as normally open
(NO) or normally closed (NC). Configure the relays by performing the
following steps and referring to Figures 2–15 and 2–16.
1. Remove power from the unit.
2. Remove the chassis from the recorder case, and remove the GPIO
board from the case by pulling it straight out.
3. Remove the two screws retaining the metal shield over the jumpers.
4. Configure the jumpers by pulling the jumper straight off of the pins
and pushing it straight onto the desired pins.
5. When you have finished configuring the relays, replace the metal shield
on the GPIO board and reinstall the board into the case assembly.
6. Install the chassis back into the case.
